yep, the way the journalist makes the point about snitching is so partial. In Europe, we still remember sadly how many families have been devastated by snitchin... My mother's family story, amongst millions of other stories, tears falling down in silence for ages. What makes the right context for the right behavior? No matter the context, as for me, no snitchin means true courage when it implies a chosen sacrifice, that possibly will never ever be regarded as so by the rest of the community.
