If you slept on them in the 80s, the Air Warhola is being retroed. Well not exactly. Salvatore Ferragamo, an Italian shoe designer, designed the brogues in the 1950s. The shoe was actually the only mens design Salvatore had ever created. Mr. Warhola loved the brogue for their comfort, and wore them constantly while working in the studio and painting throughout the 1980s, making them famous. The Ferragamo family bought Andy's brogues at a Christies auction in 2006, to recreate the grip Andy loved. The retro brogues are available at the Ferragamo flagship store on 5th Ave in NYC, and at the Dover Street Market in London for a cool nine hundread and ninety dollars. HAHA.
