You are now about to witness the strength of street knowledge...

Kids will be kids...The art of liberating tools of the trade to make sure the trains got sprayed. One of the best stories that I have heard from the late great Iz the Wiz himself was...the time was late 70's early 80's we used to go into hardware stores like 5-6 kids deep 2 white kids that looked like they were headed to A rock n roll concert and 3 or 4 black kids that would act shady and cause the diversion for the get over. The black kids would head to the furthest aisle from the spray paint acting up attracting attention from security, all the while Mr. Rock n Mr. Roll were doing the sticky finger stroll out the front door with duffle bags filled with an assortment of colors rattling like nobodies business. later all the kids would meet up divvy the paint equally and decorate subway cars like urban Rembrandts. American folk art's last frontier, when the youth and the art met up on a street called rebellious!

the passing of the torch.

NWA like it or not changed the face of expression...
